What do I need on my final to pass?
Enter your current grade, set your target to the passing grade (e.g. 60%), and the calculator shows the exact score you need on the final.
How is the final grade formula derived?
Needed = (target − current × (1 − w)) ÷ w, where w is the final’s weight as a fraction. It solves for the final score that makes your weighted class grade equal your target.
Can I need more than 100%?
Yes — if the number is above 100, your target isn’t achievable with the final’s weight alone.
